SaaS platforms require subscription support and solid APIs for flexibility. When serving European customers, also confirm the provider supports SEPA withdrawal, as this reduces bank transfer issues and cuts costs. Integration options like webhooks can help automate billing. Make sure you review refund and chargeback processes too, since recurring billing has unique challenges. Testing in sandbox mode is highly recommended.
