Australia’s most renowned hairstylist, Caterina Di Biase of Melbourne’s Heading Out Hair salons, continued her remarkable streak of victories the night before, accepting their Expo Trophy to be the Australian hairdresser of the year for a second time. Since she enrolled in education in hairdressing at 16 years old, Di Biase has won more accolades than she could list, including two L’Oreal national Color Trophies as well as three Victorian Hairdressers of the Award of the Year. In 2004, she became the sole Australian and the only woman to be selected among the Next look world’s top 10 hairdressers, selected from an international jury, which included fashion icon, Alberta Ferretti.
