For example, a trader wants to buy EUR, USD right now. To do so, he needs to open a market order to buy EUR/USD. He enters the trading account in the terminal, clicks “New Order”, sets the order parameters and sends an order to buy to the broker by clicking “Buy by market”. The broker sends the order for execution. But the price can change while the request is being processed. Everything else depends on the type of execution the broker is using. With streaming execution, the broker offers new prices: the trading terminal receives a notification – a so-called requote.
